Artist Statement:

I create art because it lets me express what I am visualizing in a creative way. My work reflects what I like and what I am interested in. I go through very little processes before creating my work. I usually have an Idea in my mind and I just go for it and see how it turns out. My style relates to my visions because, lately I have been visualizing vintage ideas and my style has been some what vintage and rough as well. I usually spend around a week on my pieces, sometimes more or less. My work is different from others because I try to use a different style each time I create new work. My goal as an artist is to possibly further my interest in digital art in college.

When I am working on my pieces I don't really have a lot of inspiration. I mostly get inspiration before I start on something. I wouldn't call it inspiration though either, it’s more of a motivation to create. When I see any great pictures or videos, it makes me want to create something better than theirs. I get all of my motivation or inspiration from that feeling of seeing someone else's work become successful. It drives me to become more successful with my art.

Currently, my favorite artist is a graphic designer and logo maker, Aaron Draplin. He influences me to not be afraid to show my work, because the work I hide could be my best work. Currently in my art work I don’t see one message for all my work, I see one message for each piece of art I create. I see all kinds of emotions in my work, from happiness to sadness. I try to create a different feeling and message for each piece, because art would be boring if it gave you the same feeling and message every time.
